The seminar about the roles of environmental protection agencies was held at University of Cape Coast, Ghana on 31 November 2022, and was attended by the same group of students and junior scientists from the University that took part in the workshop on scientific writing.
The seminar was composed of three main lectures on:
- Ghana’s regulation on and execution of EIAs by Central Regional Director Shine Figorme, Environmental Protection Agency
- International regulation and standards with EIA examples by Frank Stuer-Lauridsen (LITEHAUZ) and Karen Riisgaard (WSP Denmark)
- Danish coastal monitoring by Maria Lund Paulsen, Danish Environmental Protection Agency
